Job duties will include the following:

• Leading core accounting operations, including general ledger, treasury, accounts payable, financial statement variance analysis and ad-hoc projects.
• Overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Managing revenue recognition for subscription services in compliance with ASC 606.
• Supporting M&A activity, including accounting due diligence, purchase accounting, and post-acquisition integration.
• Driving the implementation and optimization of ERP and financial systems, with a primary focus on NetSuite.

To be considered, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field (with sufficient Accounting coursework/hours). CPA is preferred but not required.
• Six or more (6+) years of progressive accounting experience. Previous corporate/industry accounting experience is required.
• Public accounting (audit) experience is a plus, although not required.
• At least two (2+) years in a PE-backed SaaS environment is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency utilizing an accounting ERP system is needed (Netsuite is desirable).
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
• Proven background with system implementations, ERP optimization, and process automation.
• Hands-on experience with M&A integrations, including post-acquisition accounting and financial consolidation is highly desirable.

The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for the following job duties, including (but not limited to):

• Monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis
• Assistance with the preparation of GAAP-based financial statements, along with reporting packages for Private Equity ownership
• Hands-on ownership of G/L accounting functions for multiple entities, including Cash and other Balance Sheet accounts
• Assistance with technical accounting items such as ASC 842 (Leases), ASC 606 (Revenue) and Foreign Currency transactions
• Oversight of payments for Sales & Use and State & Local Taxes, along with related Tax compliance items
• Working closely with Big 4 external Auditors during the annual external audit

To be considered, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Between two and five (2-to-5) years of experience, including public accounting / Audit. Big Four or national CPA firm experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting is required. CPA or CPA candidate is highly desirable.
• Prior experience auditing Technology clients (or working in corporate accounting within the Tech sector) is preferred.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, including exposure to technical accounting items such as ASC 842, ASC 606, Sarbanes-Oxley, foreign currency translation, etc.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are needed, with a team-focused mentality.
• Strong Excel skills, with a high degree of systems acumen, including the ability to learn a new ERP system quickly, along with other financial tools.
