Fast-growing Consumer Products company in west Austin is seeking a Finance Manager for a role that will serve as the hands-on FP&A leader within the company. This position will be responsible for building out the corporate Finance function of a small but expanding company with a track record of growth over the past 7+ years. The Finance Manager will be charged with creating FP&A processes, structure, and reporting, while optimizing Accounting processes, along with utilization of the ERP system (Netsuite). This individual will have the opportunity to work closely with Ownership & Executives, while taking on a progressive range of duties as the company continues to expand, including corporate development, M&A support, team-building, and other strategic initiatives.

Specific job duties will include, although not be limited to:
- Creating and implementing ongoing budget processes and templates, both company-wide and departmental.
- Building and maintaining accurate Cash Flow forecasts, including weekly, monthly and quarterly.
- Performing financial variance analysis and trend analysis on numerous areas of the business, including Product / Cost analysis, Sales & Commissions, G&A Expenses, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Revenue Analysis.
- Assisting Ownership with the creation of long-term financial models, including one-year, three-year, and five-year plans.
- Serving as a key administrator of the Netsuite ERP system, while working to enhance and optimize Netsuite utilization throughout the company.
- Oversight of physical Inventory, while monitoring costs related to production, distribution, and other supply chain items.
- Working closely with Sales leadership to evaluate Commission structures, while building sophisticated Commissions models and reports.
- Establishing effective Internal controls over accounting, FP&A, and financial reporting.
- Working with the Accounting Manager to prepare and review monthly and quarterly P&L statements.
- Responding to ad-hoc financial and operational reporting requests from Ownership and key Investors.
- Collaborating with third-parties, including external CPA firm, banks, IT providers, outsourced manufacturers & distributors, along with key vendors and customers.
To be considered, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Five or more (5+) years of progressive Finance experience.
- Small-to-mid-sized company experience is preferred, but not required.
- Background within an industry such as Consumer Products, eCommerce, Manufacturing & Distribution, Food & Beverage Production, Health/Nutrition Products, Retail, or similar sectors.
- MBA or CPA is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Previous experience utilizing Netsuite as an ERP system is required, including up-to-date working knowledge & proficiency.
- Proven experience with general FP&A functions such as Budgeting, Analysis, Forecasting, and ad-hoc Reporting is needed, along with Advanced-level Excel skills
- Other nice-to-have skills include Cost analysis, Inventory, Pricing, Commissions, Sales analysis, Cash management, Sales Tax, etc.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the desire and ability to take on new challenges and progressive levels of responsibility
- A self-starter mentality, with the ability to work in a hands-on capacity while also grasping big picture concepts and high-level strategy.
