VP of Accounting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team.
  • Oversee all aspects of the financial reporting process.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and execution.
  • Maintain compliance and robust internal controls.
  • Drive process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Focus on scalable processes and infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a Controller or Sr. Leadership role.
  • Experience managing a total department headcount in excess of 20 in current or previous role.
  • Strong background in financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Proven experience in people development and team leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in driving process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software and ERP systems.
