Expanding, PE-backed Software company is seeking a driven Sr. Financial Analyst for a key position. This individual will be responsible for a wide variety of FP&A duties such as budgeting, forecasting, analysis, financial modeling, etc. while reporting to the Director of FP&A and working closely with all areas of the company. This is a great opportunity for a Financial Analyst with three-to-six (3-6) years of experience to join an fast paced SaaS company in a position with a high degree of exposure and career growth opportunity.
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the following job duties:
- Analyzing complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to leadership for decision making purposes.
- Financially dissecting revenue streams, platform products, and sales channels to determine profitability and identify opportunities.
- Serving as a key player in the company’s financial planning process by analyzing current and past trends in key performance indicators, including revenue, cost of sales, and capital expenditures.
- Assisting with M&A activity, including analysis of acquisition targets and post-acquisition integration activity.
- Working closely with Sales Operations and HR to develop, implement, and operationalize sales compensation plans, along with analysis of Sales pipeline.
- Working closely with Marketing to develop key marketing analytics, drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs, pricing, and new rollouts.
- Enhancing the company’s budgeting, financial forecasting, and modeling tools and reporting systems.
- Preparing ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested by leadership team.
Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with three (3) or more years of corporate Finance experience. Proven skills and abilities related to financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and detailed analysis are needed, in addition to Advanced-level Excel skills. Prior background within Software-as-a-Service is strongly preferred. Previous experience utilizing an ERP system such as Netsuite, Oracle, Intacct, etc. is needed, along with Salesforce experience. Candidates should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with high-level of curiosity, attention to detail, and business acumen.
