Spencer Epley

Managing Partner

As Managing Partner of Hill Country Search Advisors, Spencer brings many years of market-leading expertise as an Accounting & Finance Recruiter within the Austin area.  

Since co-founding Hill Country Search Advisors in 2013, Spencer and co-founder Ariana Anderson have dedicated themselves to building a progressive-minded recruiting firm that is based on integrity, hard work, commitment to excellence, and trust.

After receiving a Master’s degree in Accounting from The University of Texas in 2003, Spencer began his career with Deloitte & Touche in its Austin office, working for 3 years as an Auditor and obtaining his CPA license (currently inactive).

He transitioned into the recruiting world in 2006, joining a nationwide staffing agency as an Executive Recruiter and becoming a trusted advisor to clients and candidates throughout Austin.  He then spent 3 years as the Executive Recruiting Manager for a local consulting firm in Austin, where he helped to rebuild the firm’s executive placement function from the ground up.

Spencer has resided in Austin since 2002, and he stays active by coaching his son’s sports teams.  He also enjoys skiing, playing basketball and golf, along with traveling, boating, and networking in his spare time.
